Childhood Cancer Foundation is celebrating the 4th annual Light It Up Gold campaign with a Candle Lit Walk in Dublin City Centre on Saturday 3rd September. The event starts in St Patrick's Park at 4pm with family fun activities followed by a candle lit walk and finishes in St Patricks Cathedral with a short choir service. St Patrick’s Cathedral will light up gold for the event and throughout September for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

They are joining international landmarks such as the Niagara Falls, Times Square New York and Harbour Bridge in Texas to light up gold for childhood cancer awareness.

Event will include face-painting and kids entertainment in the park prior to a short walk led by the Lord Mayor. After the walk we will gather in St Patrick’s Cathedral for a short candle lit ceremony in St Patrick’s Cathedral with singing.
